Pamela Roth
Journalist. Author. Photographer.
A journalist since 2003, Pamela has spent the bulk of her career covering court and crime for various newspapers in western Canada, including the Edmonton Sun where she worked for five years as a crime reporter.

During this time, Pamela wrote two series that profiled some of the city's unsolved murders. Told from the perspective of the victim's family members, the series sparked the creation of her true crime book, Deadmonton, which was published in September 2016.
An avid traveller and outdoor enthusiast, Pamela is always searching for the next big adventure and has been to more than 20 countries including Greenland, Rwanda, Myanmar and Nepal. Her travel writing has appeared in several major travel publications including Outpost Magazine, Dreamscapes Travel & Lifestyle Magazine and Our Canada.

Pamela grew up in the Town of Whitecourt and moved to Calgary in 2001 to attend the journalism program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Aside from journalism and globe trotting, her hobbies and interests include snowboarding, yoga, camping, hiking, reading, biking, fishing, and drawing cartoons.
